This year Fire Safe Australia & New Zealand celebrated its 20th birthday.
On the 18th of November 2022, FSANZ held a National Conference where all staff, including those working interstate, were flown into Sydney – to celebrate being 20 years in business, reflecting on the significant growth of the company and what is in store for the future.
It was a great day, having all office staff and technicians in the same location – providing the opportunity for staff to reconnect and bond, focus on team building, leadership, training, passion, and the future direction of FSANZ.
Fire Safe ANZ has been committed to providing quality fire protection and electrical contracting to companies across Australia and New Zealand since 2002. Therefore, with the leadership change and the appointment of Luke Macdougall as CEO earlier this year – Luke was able to demonstrate his core values of vision, leadership, and most importantly, working as a team to make a difference. Furthermore, advocating for the growth and passion of the fire industry, and that of the staff at FSANZ.
We were lucky enough to have Paul Waterhouse National Manager, Engagement from the Fire Protection Association Australia (FPAA), to take time out of his busy schedule and present at our 20 Year Conference. With the FPAA being the peak industry body for fire protection and the industry’s major technical and educational organisation, we were extremely honoured to have Paul promote a world-class fire protection industry and deliver education and direction on industry practice, legislation, code and standard. Furthermore, the passion and advocacy to develop and implement improved fire protection.
Fire Safe ANZ will continue to be dedicated to delivering simplified fire safety needs and will so, for another 20 years. Customers have entrusted us to provide quality fire protection and electrical contracting to their sites, which has and always will be – delivered with prompt reliable service and plain-spoken expertise.
