Fire Safe ANZ is extremely proud to be this year’s Volunteer Sponsor, we are a locally owned and operated company, with our head office based in Unanderra. We thought it was about time that we put the extinguishers down for a day and show our support for the i98fm Illawarra Convoy – a very special occasion on the Illawarra calendar.
The i98fm Illawarra Convoy first began operation in 2005 and has since grown to become one of the largest, truck and motorbike Convoy’s in the Southern Hemisphere.
Funds that are raised for the i98fm Illawarra Convoy all go towards helping and supporting individuals and families, who have been directly affected by life-threatening medical conditions. Support is achieved with the supply of food and fuel vouchers, medical equipment, schooling needs, pharmacy accounts and more to local families. Furthermore, supplying direct support to charities and local hospitals, in and around the Illawarra and South Coast.
Our employees are also excited to be given the opportunity to directly volunteer and assist on the day and at events leading up to convoy day. We can’t wait to see all the smiling faces of not only the children, but their families, volunteers and, those cheering on the side of the road.
Between now and November, we will continue to raise much needed funds for the Illawarra Convoy. With all proceeds going towards a great cause.
